Marilyn Longlade Capreol

 Marilyn was born and raised on the islands and waters of Georgian Bay. She is Anishinaabe from Shawanaga First Nation in Ontario.  Throughout her life Marilyn has been an active volunteer. Along with others, she began a first response support for homeless in need by creating a Street Help program in Toronto. She was the President of the Circle of Directors for Na Me Res, a shelter for Indigenous men, for many years. For this work Marilyn was honoured with the Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002. Marilyn is a founding member of the Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership (CRP) Elder’s Lodge, based out of the University of Guelph. She also participates in the national circle, "UNESCO Canadian Heritage Indigenous Language". Marilyn serves on the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve Board and is a member of the Indigenous Circle for the Canadian Biosphere Reserves Association. Marilyn looks forward to bringing her knowledge and experience to the OHPS board.

Andrea Isbester

 With 30 years of experience in marketing communications, mostly focused on strategic planning, Andrea is known to be an empathetic and intelligent leader. She has worked in a wide variety of businesses, where she faces complex challenges, looks at the big picture, and simplifies the complicated. Today, as the Chief Strategy Officer of Dentsu Canada, Andrea leads many research and strategy teams. She is a lifetime Pointe au Baril-er who previously served on the Ojibway Club board for 7 years, including 2 years as President. Andrea has always admired the work of the OHPS and looks forward to the opportunity to support its mission.

 Adam Thom

 Adam is an architect and a founder of AGAThom Co., an architectural Studio and Workshop based in Toronto. He is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects and Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. He  sits on the executive board for the TSA and the advisory committee for IPLAN (i.e. Immigrant Professionals Leveraging Architectural Knowledge for New Opportunities)—a training program for internationally educated architects. Adam has many years of experience working on historically sensitive restoration projects. He enjoys the research and investigating how to integrate present requirements with the past structures. Adam looks forward to contributing to future OHPS projects.
